First stop was for 3 year old granddaughter Maggie’s ballet recital.

Next was off to 18 year old grandson Owen’s high school graduation from Loyola Blakefield.

From left to right – Foster, Zeke, Jake, Caitlin, Owen, Wes, and Alex.

This fall he is off to Northeastern University majoring in cognitive psychology and computer science. He’ll be spending his first semester in Madrid.

By June 2 we were back with Maggie and Cyrus to help Dad for a week while Mom worked on her dissertation.

Meet Chris’s Aunt Janice in Seattle! May we all look this good at 90!

This was the theme she chose for her birthday bash.

Chris commissioned this beautiful group birthday “card” from Albany area artist Frank Smith.

While in Seattle we did some sightseeing – the Space Needle, the Chihuly Glass Art Garden, and the Botanical Garden and a Bonsai Collection.

Back in Vermont, Chris enjoyed meeting another cousin from the Georgia branch of the family – Mac and his wife Lauren.

While in Ripton, VT Chris and her friend Jerry enjoyed walking the Robert Frost poetry trail.

Now the final stretch – highlights of visits with various friends and family back in the Albany area.

Chris’s college friend Helen and her granddaughters.

Chris with niece Rebecca.

We celebrated cousin Emily’s high school graduation.

Friend Scot is a prolific artist. The painting below made the cut of things we brought to Malta.

Paul and Stephanie are theater friends. Chris was on stage with Paul when he was a child in the 80’s

We had a lovely dinners with friends Linda and Matt in Albany and Lyn and Jack in Schenectady but forgot to take pictures. Oops!

These last two pictures are of our dear friends who hosted us. First are Dino, Kella, and their son Aleks.

And finally, Lynn and Brooks. So good to us!

Our next US visit will be in November.
